The Brief:

Working with the marketing team to create a brochure that promoted the Wedgwood attractions including the Wedgwood Visitor Centre, Wedgwood Museum and the Wedgwood and Royal Doulton Outlet Store.

 

As the main marketing tool for the Visitor Centre, it was essential that the new concept and design persuaded potential visitors to pick the leaflet out of the rack and to make the Wedgwood experience a ‘must do’ visit worth traveling to.

 

The Solution:

Wedgwood is a hidden gem within Staffordshire and has so much to offer it’s visitors, but with such a large site few people are aware of the wide variety activities available from the visitor centre and shop, museum, tearoom to the hands on activities and factory tour. As a well recognised and establish brand, it was essential that the strict brand guidelines were met, but the new brochures also needed to be attractive and communicate to a wider target audience.

 

Building on the values of Josiah Wedgwood himself, we develop a concept based on ‘innovation, imagination and inspiration’, which combined a more modern and fluid style to the literature along with the use of a 3D image of the site, allowing potential customers to immediately see the wealth of activities. This image has now been enlarged and used as a wall graphic in the new outlet Store on the Wedgwood site.
